The begotten again human spirit (John 1:12-13).has attributes. We
are familiar with eternal life (John 3:16, John 5:24, 1Jo 5:9-13) and the gift
of righteousness (Rom 5:17), either actual or imputed (Rom 3:24-27).
Spiritual vision also seems to be an attribute of the begotten
again human spirit. Sometimes the vision is direct (Act 2:3, Rev 1:12-16),
sometimes the vision is mediated by knowledge and understanding of Scripture (Pro
29:18). Both under the law of Moses and in apostolic times special spiritual
vision was though special spiritual callings, gifts, and manifestations (1Co
12:4-7). Those revelations which are of special value to us were recorded in
Scripture. Spiritual vision through the mediation of knowledge and
understanding of Scripture is available to all those begotten again in Christ.
