Saving Faith Is Miraculous, Born of God, and Freely Available!

{{___ Are you telling me I am not on a Journey.}}

The experiences of the born again in this world are better described as a walk (Ephesians 2.10; 4.1,17; 5.2,8,15 and many others).

{{___ When I read your post it seems to me that you are saying That I do not live by HIs word }}

I am not sure whether by "live" you mean "behavior" or possession of "that life which is in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8.2).

But behavior on the principle of law, rules, goals, mile posts, steps, even journeys in a sense, provides not life, but death. More particularly, the actions of sin in the flesh give evidence of death (Romans 7.11 and context). Both of the eventual physical death that comes to all who have intentionally sinned in the past ("All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." - Romans 3.23). And that eternal second death in the lake of fire that awaits all whose names are not written in the Book of Life (Revelation 20.15)

The "spirit of that life which is in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8.2) brings spiritual fruit: "love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith" (Galatians 4.).

And persistent absolute inner assurance of two things otherwise regarded as impossible:

Romans 8:16 KJV The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: [Despite our defects.]
Romans 10:9-10 KJV That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [Believing that a man rose from the dead.]

This very special kind of faith is miraculous. It is the free gift of God (Ephesians 2.8-10). It is born of God (1st John 5.4-5). It is the continuous testimony of the indwelling Holy Spirit and a new and different kind of personal spirit (Romans 8.16, quoted above).

{{___ and that I am not a child of God }}

It is always prudent to not take that for granted. The apostles did not take it for granted that all in the assemblies they addressed were truly born again.

Romans 8:9-10 KJV But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Please forgive me for not taking the time to get to know you better.

{{___ and that Jesus has not truly risen from the dead}}

I was referring to our acceptance of the fact. Many accept the resurrection of the Lord intellectually. Many show trust in the teachings of nominal Christianity through their better than heathen decent behavior.

But to be inwardly, absolutely, and persistently convinced of the fact that a man rose from the dead requires a miraculous sort of faith. The faith possessed by the born again.
